Don't miss this. It is the best! Come rain or shine they perform and you need to be there. We love this. It sprinkled a little, but we were prepared with our hats and coats.
The precision is amazing. The music is fantastic and the atmosphere and backdrop of Edinburgh Castle with the fireworks. Wow! is superb!
What an amazing experience. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to witness Scottish culture and pride first hand. The performers didn’t make a single error the entire show and everything was perfectly choreographed. Loved the music, vibe and the enjoyment of the audience. Definitely the highlight of my visit to Scotland. A truly unforgettable experience!🏴💙
If you are able to visit Scotland, add The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Festival to your itinerary. Such a big deal to me because I used to be in the Brigade when I was much Younger 🥰🥰🥰… An Unforgettable Experience; well coordinated and I loved every single tune/music they played. Just try to book your tickets ahead, it’s usually held in August, see my IG @_honeywealth for more.
If you ever have the opportunity to attend this event, do it! The theme changes, but it's amazing no matter what! The passion the players bring is outstanding and you can see it in their performances. The event is outdoors so bring waterproof gear or a rain poncho in case it rains. The performers hang out in the wings under the bleachers so if you want a pictures with them, that's where they were.
Recommendations, order beer ahead of time and pick up before the event. Also, get there early so you don't have to wait in the lines. Have fun and enjoy!
Have been thinking about getting tickets for many years now and so glad I did.
If you love the sound of bagpipes, you'll love this.
The precision of the dancers and the military is excellent.
If you can get tickets, go ahead.
Note: only on in August of each year.
All countries that participated this year, really put their all into their performance! Norway's Drill team won his majesty's performance award. A must see show atleast once in a lifetime
Absolutely fantastic, we loved it, everything was stunning, the costumes/uniforms, music, performances. Staff/volunteers were so friendly, clean toilets, drinks not overpriced. I would recommend taking a blanket as it coukd get a little chilly.
The REMT is a fantastic, must-watch show for anyone.
There are multiple countries performing phenomenal foot drill, marching drill and playing music from their band. It's a wonderful display of fire, light and sound!
From my 2023 visit, I would say I will definitely return for more later on, and that the UK's RAF and other countries was simply amazing.
Drinks are a bit overpriced, so I would say buy some before entering!!
